The owner of the webpage "http://www.aeclim.org" is the Spanish Association of Climatology (hereinafter known as AEC), institution formed by scientists and professionals involved and/or interested in the study of climate. The Association is the owner of the AEC logo. Some of the resources included in this page have been transferred by its authors for its exclusive use. Total or partial reproduction of the contents of this web by any means is strictly forbidden without the prior written consent of the AEC or of its respective authors, in which case the users will have to quote the author and the source of the materials used for the authorized personal, educative or informative use, mentioning the URL address of this webpage.

The pictures, texts, graphs and data of any kind, graphic or documental design, conventional or electronic text archives, photographic archives, video, audio or software archives will be protected by the legislation on royalties. Privacy policy

According to what has been established in the Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December on Personal Privacy Policy, the AEC informs its webpage users that the information collected for the members' area, as well as for subscriptions to newsletters, is handled with absolute confidentiality and is not shared, sold or transferred in any case to any third parties. The data collected through the forms of this page – the fields of which have to be filled in- or through e-mail, as well as those obtained as a result of the legal relationship established between the user and the AEC, will be stored in the databases owned by the AEC. With this information, the user expressly authorises the AEC to process the personal data that he/she has voluntarily provided, with the only purpose to maintain, develop and control the legal relationship that might be established between the parties and to be able to inform them on the aforementioned association.

The owner of the data is the sole person or entity responsible to fill in the forms with false, incorrect, incomplete or non updated data. In case of modifications of your data, we beg you to duly inform us in writing. The data owners that have voluntarily sent personal information will be able to exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and/or opposition in the way and with the reach that has been foreseen legally, addressing the AEC Secretary (Secretaría de la AEC, Facultad de Filosofía y Letras. Dpto. de Geografía. Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Ciudad Universitaria Cantoblanco, Ctra. Colmenar, km 15, 28049 Madrid) or to info[arroba]aeclim.org. The request will have to contain name, family name of the interested person, a photocopy of the identification card (DNI in Spanish) and, in those cases where it is admitted, the data of the person representing the interested person, as well as the document proving this representation, the specific request, notifications address, date and applicant's signature and documents proving his/her request. If the request does not meet the specified requirements, a correction will be required.

In compliance with Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Services of the Information and E-Commerce Society, we inform that email addresses can be used to send information and/or news of our organization. If you do not wish to receive any information, please tell us following the above-mentioned protocol.

The AEC reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy according to the legislation applicable at every moment. Any modification of such Policy will be published in the aforementioned website.
